AT LABOR NOTES

What’s Happening

The federal workforce is under attack—but federal unionists are organizing, fighting back, and building something stronger.

On June 11, the day before the Labor Notes Conference 2026 begins, the Federal Unionists Network is bringing together workers from across agencies and locals for a national FUN Summit.

This is more than a meeting: It’s where we come together to assess the state of the federal labor movement, align our strategy, and make decisions about the future of our Network.

Why Attend?

  • Connect with federal unionists from across the country

  • Strategize how we fight back and win in this moment

  • Help shape the future of FUN and the broader federal labor movement

  • Be part of the most representative gathering of federal unionists to date

If you’re serious about building a fighting, democratic, and coordinated federal labor movement—this is where you need to be.

This Moment Requires Us

Federal workers are facing unprecedented attacks on our jobs, unions, and ability to serve the public. The FUN Summit is where we come together to assess the moment, align strategy, and take coordinated action.

Get Involved with The CBTU

We encourage all Federal Unionists to get involved with the CBTU by becoming members.

Attend the 55th Annual CBTU Convention

We also invite you to join us at the upcoming CBTU Convention in Atlanta this May—an important opportunity to connect, organize, and build power together.

We Want to Hear From You!

Has your federal union local passed Resolution 33 or a similar resolution calling for a national “Union Day of Solidarity”? Let us know! We’d love to hear from you.
